Our pets are our family, and when we’re not with them we want to make sure they are with someone we trust, who will love them just as much as we do. At Zoomies K9 Camp, you can rest assured your furry friends are in excellent hands. Ali’s daycare and boarding service caters to small and medium sized dogs, and she hosts only ten dogs a day to ensure each one is getting a great deal of attention. Her camp caters to the personality and energy level of each dog, and her mission at Zoomies is to provide a safe space for dogs to make friends and engage in healthy play. Ali is providing an amazing service and really is a BOSS!

Ali got her start in technology marketing and worked in that field for almost a decade before deciding she would start her own business--a bold move! It was no surprise to me that with her tenacity and spunk that she would want to run her own business. She is a one-woman show at Zoomies (for the most part), and with the help of her family, especially her mom, she built a business that is set up that way she wants it and she gets to be her own boss and make the money she wants. Talk about living the dream!

Ali decided to do a boudoir shoot because she thought it would be both fun and a little terrifying to add this to her “portfolio of life experiences”, and also hoped it would help her to love her body a little bit more. During our time together she shed all of her nerves, and understood that hers wasn’t the first scantily clad body I had photographed. ;) Her session started with hair and makeup, which put her at ease and in the right mindset to change into her “naughty pants.” We had a wardrobe consultation and chose three amazing looks, and I helped her pose in ways that would showcase her body best! I had such a great time listening to music and enjoying our session together!

During her photo reveal she told me, “I didn’t know I could be such a hottie! I am always covered in dog hair, drool and sometimes pee, so having my wavy red locks and hot potato body rocking black lingerie was awesome!” This experience made her realize that every body is beautiful and we shouldn’t be so damn hard on ourselves. We grew up idolizing all these imaginary women in magazines and on TV, and the truth is we can all look that fan-freaking-tastic with a good photographer!

To Ali, being a strong woman means a lot of things and she expressed that most importantly it means that sometimes you have to let yourself break down...but only if you know that you are going to pull yourself together again after. You need to take breaks and allow yourself to not always be at your best. To know that you cannot give 110% of yourself all of them time and still have room for growth. A sign of strength is to understand your limits. From the minute I met Ali, I knew she had a strength within her that was unparalleled.
